Kevin A. Phillip is the Chief Operating Officer of the Cayman Islands operation. He also acts as an independent professional director at Waystone, and his fund governance experience covers a wide range of investment funds and related structures. His experience covers various strategies, including long/ short equity, shipping, private equity, public and private credit, global real estate, asset-backed secu-rities, commodities, currency, agriculture and healthcare funds.

Kevin has extensive experience serving as an independent director for over 16 years, providing guidance on fund governance, accounting, regulatory compliance, legal and financial issues to some of the world’s largest and successful managers. In addition, Kevin has significant audit experience, focusing on large, international financial institutions, U.S. domestic and offshore hedge funds and mutual funds.

At Waystone, Kevin directs the strategy, implementation, and execution of the business plan for all products in the Cayman Islands, working with global business development team, various business units and operations teams, to ensure that all operational client facing teams provide a best-in-class service. Previously, Kevin led the Waystone International Tax and Compliance group.

He qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in New York and holds a Master of Science degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in both Accounting and Finance from North Carolina Central University. Kevin is a Registered Director with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority and is an Accredited Director by the Chartered Secretaries of Canada. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is an approved principal of entities registered with the National Futures Association.

Polka Mishra has been working in Financial Services since 2004. She is a Shareholding Partner and Managing Director of Javelin Wealth Management, a Singapore wealth manager licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. She has been instrumental in institutionalising Javelin's business model for scale, resulting in solid profitability. Prior to Javelin, Polka worked as a Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity syndication specialist across Asia with a diverse sector focus. 

Through her work, Polka has established and managed funds across jurisdictions giving her extensive experience and expertise in governance, regulations, risk management, and administrative oversight of fund entities. She has also served on the board of start-ups (both as Director and Observer). 

Polka holds a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and a Post Graduate Program in Management from the Indian School of Business.

Tuan Then An Nguyen has extensive experience in Vietnam, in leadership roles in the investment industry and as a board director across a diverse range of sectors. Mr. Nguyen has led landmark investment transactions in Vietnam and helped shape corporate strategy of key industry players.

Mr. Nguyen has over 20 years of experience in private equity, asset management, investment banking and consulting in Vietnam and the Netherlands, including as CEO of Eastspring Investments Vietnam (formerly Prudential Vietnam Fund Management) and Portfolio Manager at Mekong Capital. Mr. Nguyen has served as Director on more than 20 boards for companies operating in Vietnam across a diverse range of industries, and is currently on the Board of VETC, the leading Electronic Toll Collection company in Vietnam and Kredivo Vietnam, a fintech-lending subsidiary of Kredivo, Indonesia’s leading dig-ital credit platform.

Mr. Nguyen holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science Degree in Technology and Society, both from Eindhoven University of Technology, the Netherlands.
